Trade Price

Can anyone tell me the trade price I would get for my Galaxy 2.8 V6 4x4 ghiaX 108000 miles...insurance documents say I only get trade price if something happens to car so I,m trying to determine how much I'd get for it?

If that is trade what is it worth at market value?

Hypothetically, what if the insurance company go by average mileage or are told of a lesser mileage than what is on the clock what the value be then?

...You can't get away with it, that's why the DVLA keep mileage information on every vehicle, they then provide such information to HPI and the like which is why many secondhand vehicles can have a warranted mileage if the dealer is a subscriber.

In my experience the insurance companies have been very generous when valuing cars. I buy all of my cars from auction. Yes, at auction a 1998 Galaxy V6 will only fetch around

privilage, just read the docu's and it says market value:- car replaced with same make, model and colour, if one cannot be found then market value will be paid.

i think your find that most companys will only payout market value anyway on a second hand car that is why they have assessors to come out and check but if you have a pristine example then photograph it for proof if you end up in a heated discussion.
